I was looking for a simple case for use with my HTC Droid Eris and my wifes LG choc. touch that was vertical and open for when we want to use ear buds. I contacted Cellet and they said any of their iPhone cases would fit so I found this and ordered it. Case and clip system is pretty nice (would prefer it come with the 360 deg. clip and not sure of its durability, time will tell). My Eris and wife's LG fit perfect, snug in fact. The interior could be a little softer like the felt lined case logic case I have with magnetic flap but this appears soft enough to not scratch the phone. Leather is firm and should protect just fine against bumps.

Do not attempt to use this case with a 3G phone. I slid my phone into this case and it took half an hour an a lot of effort to get it out. The description doesn't say it's only for 1G, but I suspect this is the case (no pun intended). Otherwise a lovely well made case with 2 different removable clips. Wish it worked for my 3G.
