The VX8550 does fit in this pouch. Getting it out in time to answer your phone is another story. Pass on this one.

As you see from the photo, this is a stitched leather product. In reality, it's not as 'glossy' as it appears. It's a really nice, soft leather. It fits the LG VX8500 perfectly. The spring steel clip on the back is slim, wide and perfect for hanging on my belt or on the pocket of my jeans, and it's also covered and stitched (no plastic to break). The magnetic closure is really convenient. And you can't beat the price!

Nice enough, not crazy about the clip design. This probably would have kept my son from losing his cell phone if he would have used it more. The design doesn't make it that easy to get the phone in and out as easily as a holster type. I'll try to find one like that next time.
