...I'm still recommending it. Actually, I'm on my fourth and I ordered three more. I mean, they're ridiculously cheap. This is actually the fourth variety of case I have used; and not only is it the cheapest price-wise, it is also my favorite. I am marking it down one star because of the propensity for the belt clip to detatch from the holster itself. I admit that on all occasions that mine broke they were fairly rough circumstances. During average day-to-day use they're great and are not likely to just come undone. The unit itself holds the blackberry firmly and snugly, yet it is still easy to remove the phone quickly with one hand. Furthermore, it is compact and elegant, unlike many of its bulky competitors. I have given them away to several friends, and I've taken notice that they've all replaced their fancy-man leather cases with these. Function over fashion, 'nuff said.

The holster is nice and does secure the blackberry, however, be advised that there is NO magnet on the back. You're phone will not function appropriately without the magnet. You'll notice battery performance issues because of this. I went and bought a magnet to put in the back (there is space) - but didn't realize when I purchased that it lacked the magnet.

Good case for my CurveApr 02, 2009

After a few weeks I broke mine while traveling. The release handle is plastic and I knew would break at some point, just not this early and with the crunch it made. I simply pressed too hard trying to pick up a call. I just bought 2 more, cause I love the case. Can't beat the price either. You're still charged shipping for a 2nd one if you buy 2, even though they will arrive in 1 box. Creative sales/marketing I guess

I knew I was taking the risk by spending so little money.
Why it was a waste of money:
First, this holster does not have a magnet, thus the Blackberry does not know when it is in the holster
Second, and most important, the design is so poor that when you put the Blackberry in this holster some keys get pressed, involuntary opening email, accessing phone numbers, and other undesired actions

What can I say? This clip only cost me $1(each). Given my previous experience with the plastic holsters, I knew that longevity was not to be expected. I purchased three of them and each lasted about 3-4 months as the belt clip just doesn't hold up to frequent use. In any event, it suited my need at the time. I have since switched to a different BB, but if I still had my old Curve, I would likely continue to buy this belt clip holster given the price.
